I just finished this absolutely wonderful book. I am a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of Texas, and we use primarily Labs. However, we have our own breeding program, and our Labs do not have Marley's "very special characteristics". It was such a joy to read, and it was very helpful in dealing with the loss of my first puppy in training and in preparing for the loss of of my second. What a wonderful story. Sometimes I laughed so hard that tears came to my eyes. Other times the tears just came. I am an ardent dog-lover, but I have never had one like Marley. This story almost made me wish I had. A truly wonderful story about a truly wonderful dog.

I am in the middle of this book and it is SO GOOD! Just to think that all of this actually happened is AMAZING! You should really get this book. I don't usually like reading but this book is too good to stop reading. Once you start this book you won't be able to stop. Until it's over that is. I'm not reading it off if iBooks but I thought that I should really leave a review. I can really relate to this book because my friend got a dog that was almost 4 feet tall after having him for no more then two months. He was slobbery and afraid of thunder but I have to say not as afraid as Marley. I think that everyone should read this book and that everyone can relate to this book in at least one way.
I love this book! I devoured this in less than a day and cried at the end. It's so sad but also uplifting in some ways. It makes me cherish my time with my dog, Zoey, even more.
You will not regret buying and reading this book.

One of the greatest books I have ever read. I liked the beginning and I got to know the characters so well when marley died I actually cried.
Awesome book, you will love it even if you never had a dog!
I loved this book! I usually find something else to do other then read once I'm done reading for my classes but I found myself going back to this book to finish it! I myself have a dog (GSD) and this book just makes you realize how loyal these wonderful creatures are!
